THE TRENDIEST LINEN CLOTHES OF THE SEASON

Linen is perfect for hot weather. This is our invariable favorite in terms of naturalness, quality of the material, and the ability of the fabric to “breathe”. In summer, linen saves from the heat, as it is breathable, and, at the same time, it perfectly protects from the sun. Yes, this is not the easiest fabric to care for: linen wrinkles quite noticeably, and you need to follow the rules for caring for linen clothes so that they do not lose their size and properties. But all these moments are fully compensated by the wonderful sensations that such clothes give! Plus, linen is on trend. We analyze what the linen fashion offers us and how to use it correctly.

HOW TO WEAR LINEN?

If you choose clothes made of natural linen, keep in mind that over time, it can stretch out in places of increased stress (for example, on the knees in trousers or on the elbows in sleeves). Coping with this moment is easy: choose wide trousers and looser or short sleeves (especially since such models are just in trend).

In order for linen clothes not to wrinkle much, choose a fabric where linen is mixed in half with viscose, or there is a small amount of elastane. Thanks to this composition, the item will last longer, and it will be easier to care for it.

LINEN DRESS IS YOUR COMFORT

Anything is now sewn from linen: from dresses and skirts to shorts and even jumpsuits. But as a summer option, I recommend considering, first of all, dresses. A linen wrap dress with a waist band, a loose shirt dress with short sleeves, a delicate linen-style dress with petal sleeves and small buttons, and a loose hoodie dress with a V-neck look very nice. In addition, colored linen is very popular this season: it makes not only beautiful dresses, but also excellent floor-length sundresses with a tie around the neck or a top with a drawstring.

TRENDY COMBINATIONS WITH LINEN

Let’s say you choose not a linen dress, but trousers, a shirt or a suit. In this case, what to wear linen with?

For example, linen trousers will look cool with a tank top made of chiffon or light silk with straps. As for a suit of a loose linen jacket and culottes, you can wear a fitted crop top with a square neckline made of suiting fabric or a bustier top made of eco leather with it. Linen loose shorts with an elastic band work well with basic cropped tees and tank tops for a super comfy look for the beach and the outdoors.

Another trend is the combination of linen and cotton lace: usually such lace is sewn as a ribbon along the edge of the hem of a dress or midi skirt, or used as ruffles near the neckline and on the sleeves. So choose your combinations and enjoy the warm days.
