HOW TO AVOID COMMON MISTAKES IN STYLISH LOOKS

We often don’t want to purchase a certain clothing item because we are not sure how appropriate and impressive it will look on us. Sometimes it’s hard for us to figure out how to combine such a new thing with other items in our wardrobe. Well, it also happens that we are guided by stereotypes about what can and cannot be worn and combined. So, get ready to dispel the most common of them!

SAME SIZE FOR EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING

Do you always buy only fashionable women’s clothing in your size? This definitely deprives you of many options to diversify your wardrobe, because both oversize and “male” things are in now: baggy jackets with large shoulders, long large T-shirts, cotton shirts, which are a couple of sizes larger. They can be combined both with other clothes “with air” already in your size, and with designs that fit your figure: a fitted dress, a tight-fitting top, a pencil skirt or leggings.

JEANS ONLY WITH SPORTSHOES

Jeans aren’t just a part of an exclusively sports style: they are often used in smart casual and business casual looks. Straight leg jeans with a high rise in blue or gray are the most common companions of such looks, and they are complemented by kitten-heeled sandals or stilettos, a classic white shirt, an oversize checkered jacket and massive jewelry. Wide leg jeans can be worn with a turtleneck and dark loafers, and mom jeans – with the laced-up boots and a thin cotton sweater.

ONLY ONE BRIGHT COLOR IN A LOOK

This rule is long obsolete, if it ever existed! If you gravitate towards bright colors in your looks but are afraid that your combinations will look out of place, turn to color blocking tips or read about color combinations in accordance with the rules of the color wheel. In such way you can integrate both bright and pastel colors into one look and feel comfortable in colored clothes.

ECO LEATHER IS UNCOMFORTABLE AND STRANGE

Not at all, many faux leather garments have long been present in everyday fashion, and I’m not just talking about leather jackets. You can wear button-down shirts, high-waisted joggers, safari and Bermuda shorts, T-shirts, tops, bustier dresses and A-line skirts made of eco leather. You can even make a leather total look – it will be a great stylish option for spring! Moreover, the modern eco leather is very thin and pleasant to the touch, some varieties of this material even breathe, which will make you feel comfortable in any weather.
