COMFY CASUAL LOOKS

Let’s be honest – the luxurious evening gowns that catch our eye in the windows are unlikely to be needed more than a few times a year. But the situation is radically different with everyday looks: the name itself already contains the understanding that we will need these clothes every day. “Regular” looks can also be made memorable, bright and comfortable, regardless of what styles you prefer. Here are some ideas for autumn looks and tips on how to choose casual clothes for colder days.

CASUAL SUITS

The most comfortable casual wear for the season from October to May is, of course, informal suits. They can be both sporty (with hoodies and joggers) and more elegant (for example, straight trousers and a loose ribbed sweatshirt with a wide collar). A more strict style with a shirt and trousers with a belt can be made of velveteen or suiting fabric: such a suit can even be worn to the office with a not too strict dress code. In general, warmer and softer materials and a loose silhouette make the casual suit indispensable for cold days both outdoors and indoors.

WARM DRESSES

For those who prefer femininity at any time of the year, the autumn-winter 2022/23 season has prepared a lot of options with dresses. Looking ahead, I will say that they are not necessarily warm at all!

Unusual necklines (square and heart-shaped), puff or loose long sleeves, notch collars, knee-length dresses made of fine knitted fabric, wool or voluminous acrylic, are now in fashion. Autumn dresses with a sewn-in corset belt look beautiful, which makes an attractive accent on the waist and even shapes it a little.

Speaking of “cold” dresses, looks with a silk skirt or slip dress and a warm sweater or knitted turtleneck worn over it are still in trend. Therefore, buying a dress with straps made of silk or satin will be a reasonable investment for several seasons ahead.

OVERSIZE

Oversize is also not going out of fashion in the near future: any women’s clothing store has at least a couple of models in a similar style. Pay attention to wide trousers or flare jeans with a high waist, oversize hoodies or sweatshirts made of bright jersey with fleece, large button-down shirts with patch pockets, oversize jackets, coats and other outerwear. Of course, you need to balance the plus size and regular clothes accordingly, otherwise you may end up looking like a snowman. Therefore, try not to overuse the oversize, fitting it into the look in moderate portions.
