STRIPES
The striped print is the most classic pattern, which, however, has many variations. The stripes can be narrow, wide and of different thicknesses; be located horizontally, vertically, or in an unusual order (curved stripes or diagonals); their shades can be basic and pastel, or very bright and noticeable. The most popular striped pieces for creating different looks are a fitted business shirt, a striped longsleeve, and a blue or light blue striped dress or sundress.
CHECKS
The checkered print is also very diverse. This can be a checkerboard (both black and white and color) of even large squares, a diamond-shaped domino checks, which are often used on knitted vests, a tartan, reminiscent of a pattern of warm woolen plaid (usually it consists of two or more colors and forms horizontal and vertical stripes of different widths). Checks look best on pleated skirts, warm woolen dresses and oversize jackets.
HERRINGBONE
Another common pattern for business wear is herringbone: small diagonal stripes that form a zigzag print. As a rule, this pattern is used in suits in neutral colors: warm palazzo trousers, jackets and cardigans, button-down vests and classic coats.
PAISLEY
Paisley or oriental print is a bold pattern that is very popular in summer 2022. This is an oriental pattern that suggests bright colors, so it is perfect to choose a bright staple cotton floor-length dress, a sundress with slits, a layered A-line mini dress with ruffles or a short slip dress.
HOUNDSTOOTH
The houndstooth print is a sophisticated variation of the checkered print: instead of even squares, its distinguishing feature is broken corners and a diagonal arrangement of pattern elements. Houndstooth is suitable for warm dresses, autumn raincoats and coats, cardigans, suits with a short jacket and a mini skirt or wide trousers.
TIE DYE
The tie-dye print is a warm welcome from the fashion of the 90s: then we tried to dye T-shirts in all the colors of the rainbow, and now we have the opportunity to buy anything with such a bright pattern, from a knitted tracksuit to a beach cape. Tie dyes are huge circles of multi-colored stripes reminiscent of flowers, and they will perfectly color your summer looks.
