Of course, the lockdown imposes new reality: many business areas have reformatted their work due to quarantine restrictions, and those changes have affected their employees as well. Many people now work remotely or have switched to freelancing, while others continue to commute to the office. However, this does not mean that the era of offices is coming to an end: sooner or later, things will get back to their usual course, and we will again show off a new dress or shoes to colleagues. In the meantime, you can pick up the winning office looks!
A PANTSUIT
If you have a super strict business dress code at work, and the security guys measure the length of the skirt with a ruler (hardly, but still), you don’t need to take risks with a mini dress or a deep neckline. I advise you to buy a trouser suit with an elongated jacket and classic trousers with crease. Choose high rise trousers – this option is both beautiful and comfortable, and visually lengthens the legs. Such a suit can be combined with a silk top or a light blouse with short sleeves. Well, in terms of color, I can advise gray checks or plain beige: they are versatile and give room for bright accents in the form of accessories or the color of a top or a turtleneck.
A CLASSIC-FIT JUMPSUIT
If you don’t mind experimenting, take a jumpsuit with a deep neckline, massive shoulders, undercut at the waist and wide trousers. It looks great with pumps and a pendant on a long chain, and is especially beautiful in light colors of blush, ivory and azure. Well, if your manager is also loyal to the dress code, and your office is more smart casual than business, then choose a military jumpsuit with a zipper and an elastic waistband. The look of a strong lady is ready!
A SWEATER AND A MIDI SKIRT
Returning to the smart casual style, you should pay attention to the combination of a warm wool or cotton sweater and a flowing midi skirt. The contrast of textures can be enhanced with a combination of colors: top and bottom can be mustard and black, orange and dark green, pale blue and burgundy. Everything depends on your creative approach! You can complement this look with chains in combination with pearls, a wide belt and high boots with wide heels.
A SHIRT, VEST AND SKIRT IN ECO LEATHER
Again, if your office dress code is not too strict, this set is perfect for working days. You can buy a light-colored button-down shirt, roll up your sleeves a little, put on a woolen or leather vest with a V-neck (for example, terracotta or khaki), and complement it with a black eco leather pencil skirt. Well, if the leather is a bit too much for your office, choose a pencil skirt made of thick suiting fabric or take a pleated midi skirt.
A WRAP DRESS
In fact, almost any style of dress is suitable for the office, the main thing is not to open the top too much and not take the mini length. I recommend a wrap dress due to the variety of models: there are dresses with a waistband, an undercut at the waist, a straight skirt, and with a flared skirt as well. In addition, the V-neckline visually lengthens the neck and leaves room for accessories: chains, beads, pendants, and long earrings.
