Quarantine restrictions this year are far from being as strict as in past seasons, and global fashion is reacting accordingly: trends are becoming bold, vibrant and memorable. Unusual looks, color combinations, styles and textures of fabrics can be seen not only on the catwalks of famous fashion houses, but also on the streets of cities recognized as the capitals of world women’s fashion. What will the street fashion of the current season delight and surprise us with, and which of its looks can be easily recreated now?<\/p>\n

COLOR BLOCKING FOR BRIGHT LOOKS<\/p>\n

Perhaps, combining several bright colors in segments or blocks in one outfit is the main fashion trend of autumn 2022. This includes large geometric prints (checkerboard, houndstooth, domino diamonds), and simply elements of tops, bottoms and shoes in different colors. The last option is pretty easy to put together: all you need to know is the rules for color combinations. The more things in the look, the more color blocks you can use (for example, a longsleeve, trousers, ankle boots, a belt, a raincoat, a bag and a headpiece can be of completely different bright colors that complement each other).<\/p>\n

LEATHER TOTAL LOOK<\/p>\n

Modern street fashion is not complete without eco leather looks. This autumn, however, the leather pieces are the foundation, not the highlight, and are more often used as all-leather looks. Both matte and patent (glossy) eco leather are popular; you can combine both textures in one look. Eco leather clothes are usually of more muted shades (if they are colored), and are also most often made in basic colors, so it will be easy for you to diversify your basic wardrobe with the leather items. Opt for a long leather trench coat, an eco leather mini or midi skirt (which can be swapped out for high-waisted loose leather pants<\/a>), a button-down leather shirt, or a crop top with a blazer for that total look.<\/p>\n

PLAYING WITH THE LENGTH<\/p>\n

Layered looks this year suggest a difference in length. For example, an elongated suiting jacket, a short top, a mini skirt and high boots are combined with a trench coat or a raincoat of midi or midaxi length; and floor-length flare trousers or a midaxi flare skirt can be worn with a short quilted jacket complemented by a turtleneck. You can also play with the length due to asymmetry: choose a dress with an asymmetrical hemline, a skirt with a slit along one leg, or a shirt with a short front and an elongated back.<\/p>\n

BRIGHT LOOKS IN ONE COLOR<\/p>\n

A bright total look this year is an absolute must: too many bright colors are now at the peak of popularity. The easiest way to create a single-colored look is to choose a women’s trouser suit, a floor-length dress, or a combination of a straight midaxi skirt, a longsleeve or turtleneck and an oversized jacket. As for the color, the most popular are bright yellow, orange, fuchsia, cornflower blue, blue and emerald.<\/p>\n
