Autumn does not necessarily mean rains, a gloomy mood and a gray sky: you can see enough bright, warm colors this time of the year. And although the days are getting shorter, and you want to sleep more and more in the morning, I know what will give you vigor and strength in this cool time. This is, of course, an update to the autumn wardrobe!
You don’t know where to start, do you? Or do you already have a base that needs to be supplemented? Or are you missing a couple of trendy accents to complete your autumn looks? I have all the answers! Let’s see what this season has prepared for us in terms of trendy women’s clothing, and what convenient additions to basic and accent items it offers.
UPDATING THE BASIC WARDROBE
No matter how versatile some clothes may be, they also tend to wear out and become outdated, so they also need to be replaced from time to time. Well, if you don’t have basic items in your closet (or at least you think so), it will be useful to know what exactly you should get in the first place.
The basis for the autumn wardrobe can be classic or wide woolen trousers, a straight shirt with patch pockets or a blouse with flowing long sleeves made of artificial silk, a suit with an elongated jacket and straight trousers, a knee-length woolen wrap dress, a base-colored turtleneck, a plaid jacket, an eco leather midaxi dress or skirt, a plain knitted sweater and high-rise straight jeans (all in neutral colors). All of these items of clothing are good because they can be combined with each other, as well as with brighter things, prints or clothes of an unusual style, so you can wear them for a long time and often.
TRENDY WOMEN’S CLOTHING 2022/23
As for the more seasonal options for autumn and winter, the choice is wide, as always. Suits remain in the trend: both classic ones with a herringbone, checkered or houndstooth print, as well as sports ones, with oversize hoodies and joggers made of bright knitted fabric with fleece. Flare jeans and wide palazzo trousers are also in: they can be combined with a ribbed turtleneck and a plaid long jacket made of eco leather or wool. Instead of trousers, you can also take a skirt made of light satin or silk below the knee for this look, complementing it with high leather boots.
Eco leather and faux suede clothing is another popular autumn trend. This year, shades of lilac, sage, terracotta and coffee are in fashion, which looks especially beautiful on skirts, A-line dresses, straight dresses with ¾ sleeves and button-down shirts.
Speaking of shirts, don’t forget to buy a warm shirt in bright checks: it can be used for layered looks as outerwear, and also perform the role of a jacket if you choose not to go too oversize.
