However, warm days and various leisure activities are ahead of us, especially on weekends. Still, summer is a time to relax and enjoy life, and even if you stay at work and do not go on vacation, you can come up with a lot of interesting activities outside the home. For example, you can go on a picnic!
How to choose a stylish look for a picnic in the city and what to wear in nature, if suddenly you are going not to a city park, but to an impenetrable forest? Be patient, now I’ll tell you everything.
PICNICS ARE DIFFERENT
Of course, from the very beginning you need to understand where you are invited to (or what kind of event you want to organize). Agree that a barbecue in the countryside with a lawn and deck chairs, a picnic with a bonfire and a guitar in a forest far from civilization, a meeting with champagne and friends on the park lawn are fundamentally different from each other. In the same way, the looks in which you can go to such events and feel comfortable will also be different. Somewhere you will need instagram outfits and sophisticated clothes, midi and maxi dresses, hats and neat sandals, and somewhere a cozy tracksuit or T-shirt with shorts will be more than enough.
URBAN LOOKS FOR A LAWN PARTY
If your picnic takes place in a bohemian format and within the city, I advise you to choose light and feminine clothes: flying dresses and flare skirts, cotton or lace mini A-line dresses, blouses with puff sleeves, palazzo trousers, dresses with the cut at the waist in retro style with small print or flowers. However, if such looks seem too sweet for you and do not match the style you prefer, you can choose linen culottes or light, wide leg jeans made of thin denim, complement them with a short crop top and an oversize white shirt casually thrown over the top.
OUTDOOR LOOKS
If a day in the forest, mountains, on the banks of a river or a lake awaits you, first of all remember about your comfort. Joggers, a tracksuit with a crop top and wide-leg Bermuda shorts, a tank top jumpsuit with a T-shirt and sneakers are your perfect companions for such a day out.
And if a holiday in nature awaits you, I advise you to pick up something less casual and more noticeable. For example, instead of a jersey tracksuit, you can opt for a suit with a shirt and trousers made of silk, satin or soft. Animal or floral print on a dark background will make such a suit more elegant – you will be a real princess of the jungle!
