Without a doubt, we love ensembles in basic tones, and they always look expensive. However, that doesn’t mean that bolder, brighter colors can’t look just as luxurious. The tricky part is knowing which shades create a personable and chic look and which ones don’t. To find these color combinations for elegant looks, it takes time and good advice from a stylist, as well as a craving for experimentation and refined taste. But if you finish the job, you will get some memorable sets in which you will look excellent!
Combining different (even unexpected) colors is the perfect way to freshen up your wardrobe ahead of the new season. Moving away from the beige and cream palette that dominated our wardrobes last year, the biggest stylistic muses are experimenting with new color combinations. So, what to wear with green? What goes best with tangerine? How to style bright colors in a look? Today we are talking about unique color combinations to make your look visually more valuable.
BROWN AND TURQUOISE
Brown took over the fashion industry last year, with everything from accessories to outerwear getting toned. Combine a chocolate slip dress with bright and large turquoise accessories and sandals with interlaced straps: it looks expensive and very contrasting.
PURPLE AND RED
Lilac has been one of the biggest color trends of 2020. Therefore, if you have already invested in it, deciding to buy a lavender summer dress with ruffles, you can safely wear it in 2021. And to make this color of clothes look more expensive and chic, combine it with bright red accents. For example, a lilac suit with trousers and a loose shirt is perfectly complemented by a striped red and white T-shirt, a scarlet handbag and pumps. It turns out that red and lilac are the perfect and unexpected combination of colors.
CAMEL, MILK AND BLACK
This combination, however, gravitates more towards basic shades, but looks expensive and tasteful, so I include it in our list. A camel turtleneck dress (a warm and light brown-beige shade with a terracotta sheen) looks great in coarse knit with a black corset belt, milky mules, jewelry and an ivory bag. Also, you can compile a good and aesthetic look from a camel-colored longsleeve, a black wrap mini skirt made of faux suede, black sandals with massive heels and a platform with translucent high milky socks and a massive light bracelet.
PASTEL TOTAL LOOK
This is the most popular way to look chic: we associate pastel shades with female diplomats, wives of presidents and business women who prefer a strict business style. Therefore, a monochromatic look in shades of taffy, sky blue, mint, blush, which has classic styles (pencil skirt, cropped jacket, suiting trousers with crease, silk blouse or shirt) will allow you to play on the psychosomatics of color and look like a queen.
